Everyone leaves the team eventually.

Allegedly, we are talking about student athletes here and for normal students, it is very much the norm that you get your masters somewhere other than your undergrad degree.

(Qnd just for clarification, under NCAA rules, he is allowed to continue to play at his current school even while in the portal. The Athletic reports that he asked to, but we said no, which is dumb.)
